Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Raleigh will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in North Carolina usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

True Food is a higher-end restaurant that prides itself on sustainability and organic menu options. I had the Hummus as a starter and the Poke Bowl as my main. The bottom line is that the food is decent, but portions are small and prices are high. Expect to pay a premium for everything.

Good food and lots of options for GF. I have celiacs and Iβve eaten here 3 times in the 5 days I was in town. I Really liked the different options. I would say I didnβt like that they were cheap on the amount of fluid oz they give you for drinks like the refresher or the matcha lavender when I asked for less ice. I feel like the quality was good overall of food and drinks so there should be no reason to rip off customers in that way. Apart from that the service staff was friendly. Itβd be nice if you included utensils and napkins for pizza take outs too. Overall Iβd recommend and come back for the food but probably wouldnβt order drinks.

Had a great experience at True Food Kitchen in North Hills. Fresh, thoughtfully prepared food, a vibrant atmosphere, and excellent service made for a wonderful meal. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that focuses on wholesome ingredients without compromising on flavor. Definitely a spot worth visiting again.

This was my familyβs first experience eating at True Food Kitchen. Ms. V was our server; super sweet lady. The recommendations she gave was on point. The sourdough bread with whipped ricotta, was so good! I loved the variety of healthy options. I tried the planted-based double burger, OMG delicious! I love the fact that it contained no corn in the patties. My sons had the teriyaki bowl with blackened salmon and the grass feed burger with air-fried french fries. We all enjoyed a glass of their fresh juice blends, and they were perfect! The Hangover Rx with sea moss blend was my favorite. I will definitely be coming back!

We had the BEST experience tonight at True Food Kitchen in Raleigh, and it was all because of V! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. You can tell she truly believes in the food and cares about her guests having a great experience. She gave thoughtful recommendations, checked in at the perfect times without hovering, and made us feel completely taken care of. Her energy elevated the whole meal. Itβs rare to find service that feels both professional and personal, but V absolutely nailed it. Weβll be back β and weβll be asking for her!
